The news media or news industry whether Hindi or English are forms of mass media whose aim is to deliver news update to the public. There are many forms of media like Print Media, Broadcast News and Internet.
Print media include newspaper and news magazines. Broadcast Media includes radio and television. Internet media includes online newspapers, news blogs etc.



 
Hindi news refers to news in Hindi language. The very first Hindi newspaper was published in India on 30 May 1826, named Udant Martand which means The Rising Sun. This started from Calcutta (Kolkata).
This day has marked as the beginning to journalism in Hindi language and this day is also celebrated as “Hindi Journalism Day”. The first Hindi news channel was Doordarshan which was founded by the Government of India and is owned by the Broadcasting Ministry of India. It was established on 15 September 1959.
